As a guy in his 30's I remember being in my 20s and approaching older women...it's like nothing to lose. It's easier to approach when you're not expecting to be successful, so rejection doesn't feel so bad. That said, I approach women my age and younger with no problem now.

Guys 5-10 years younger are thinking of you for just sex, so keep that in mind.

Way to speak for you entire gender... I'm sure you know EXACTLY what every single 20 year old guy wants... definitely...

In this case I do...

Sorry bub, but there are a million examples to contradict that.

But I guess you're as clueless as you are confident...

Pros: dont try to tell you what to do, dont try to control things

Cons: immature, dont have their act together financially

Major Pro: very very hot.

There are "hot" guys your age and older, with jobs. You get that right...

Not in my opinion. I like them younger. Everything is... tighter. It's just better, imo.

Was told I was "tight" at 25 worked my way around the beach bars just fine. Learned a thing or two about working out out smarter regularly easily hang with the 20 somethings at the gym who think they are tight now.

just curious - and now, in your 30s, do you still date or approach older women?

Depends what you mean by older...I'll go a few years older but generally I'm dating a little younger because I'm looking for a relationship.

Why can't you date someone your age or a year older? Surely she can make s good life partner.

I can and do. 2 years older to seven years younger is the general range I go for. I've been dating someone a year older and am really into this woman on my coed volleyball team who's just a few months younger than me.

Unlike some of the women in this thread, I'm openminded depending on the person.

Woman here. I am open to dating 3 years younger to 7 years older but I prefer +/- 2 years either way. Younger men are definitely physically appealing. I'd rather date a 30yo making 90K over a 38yo making $150K, all else being equal.

And how old are you?

IME, there are few pros. Pro: flexible schedule and fewer responsibilities. Con: the sex is bad and they think they're the greatest thing to happen to women. I'm all for confidence, but the immature games and expecting me to be all wrapped up in them is too much.

I usually date guys 10+ years older.

younger guys can be better looking but older guys are often better at sex

I dated younger guys and except for sex didn't find any pros. And even sex is better with older guys as they know what to do better. I am 34, got married at 30 to a guy 6 years older.
