Go to urgent care. It is an infection of some type. Waiting to the work week will allow the infection to grow and intensify.

Just rest up if too stressed. (easier said than done . . . )

OP here. I made a derm appt for tonight with someone I've seen once before. I booked it on zocdoc (hopefully they confirm it) and wasn't sure which symptom to choose so put "abscess.."

It was an ingrown hair. The derm injected a steroid and said it will hopefully go away in a few days. I'm glad I went in, though, because the pain hasn't subsided any. Thanks all!
