I lost 100 lbs with just portion control and cutting out most processed junk. After I lost the weight I had a lot of energy and wanted to exercise. It was actually fun to exercise when I had energy. Who knew?

Mostly diet for weight loss, walking regularly and some cardio here and there.

I've lost 16 pounds so far from tracking food and walking. I got a fitbit and made it my goal to get 10k steps as many days as possible. I track pretty much everything I eat in myfitnesspal.com.

For those of you who lost 30+ lbs, what happens to your skin? Does it go back into place? I have a super flabby post pregnancy belly and I'm worried about the skin flapping around once I lose the weight. Obviously losing weight is more important. I'm 25 lbs over my pre- pregnancy weight.

Initial weight loss is almost exclusively a function of diet. Exercising during weight loss is a very good idea, both for health reasons and to reduce rebound weight gain. But almost all of the loss is from the diet itself.
