Disney over Thanksgiving Week

If I were you (esp with small ones) I'd leave at noon, take nice long naps, maybe a dip in the pool, then go back around 8pm for electrical parade and fireworks, and all the much shorter lines.
It is so easy to get overloaded at the parks.


I agree with this. We left the parks each afternoon for a break & then went back in the evenings. The kiddie rides had shorter lines at night, and our kids loved the fireworks.


But does this apply during one of the most crowded times of the year? I've heard once you're there you should stay as often they stop letting people in since they get to capacity...

There's no way they're at capacity over Thanksgiving week. I was just there for Thanksgiving, and it was fine. The only time you have to worry about capacity is on Christmas Day, and the day after that. (I've been there for that, too)
