The 5th annual one day writers conference for adults held at Ida Lee park in Leesburg, VA is open to teen writers for the first time. Teens must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Fee for this all day event is $90.00 for students, accompanying adult will pay a fee of only $20.00 to help cover costs of this nonprofit event. Lunch is included in fees.
All presenters and those attending who have a book or books for sale may have them sold throughout the event by the official bookseller. Self-published books are welcome along with those published by small presses and traditional publishers. Book seller will contact authors with information upon registration.
Date; Saturday August 10, 2019
Location: 60 Ida Lee Drive, Leesburg VA (Ida Lee Park)
Time: 8:00AM -3:30 PM
Book signing 3:30PM-4:30 PM
Fee: $90.00 for students $20.00 for accompanying adult.

My DD applied to the programs at Kenyon, Sewanee, UVa, Iowa and Bard. I think they were all 2-3 weeks long and all seem like great programs. She got into all but Iowa and decided to go to Sewanee. She had a great experience.
