Ok to let baby sleep in on the weekend?

OMG. You get an hour more cuddle time with your DH on the weekends. Or an hour more sleep. Or an hour to clean the house. Or take a long shower. Or sit outside and have a peaceful coffee. TAKE IT! If it causes disruption, stop, but take it take it take it!

(Says mom of 2 year old who has only ever slept until 7AM on two occasions in his entire lifetime.)

OP here. For everybody saying that they're jealous and calling me a moron first time mom. I'm actually a second time parent. Our first kid never slept late, so this is new to me. It also means that that extra hour on weekend mornings is bonus time for us to spend with the older one alone, not sleep time for us... It's crazy that it's our preschooler who interrupts our sleep more than our infant!
