Please recommend your sunscreen with matte finish for face

CVS Clear Zinc Sun Lotion SPF 50. I am a dark skinned AA (MAC NC50) and this is what I use. You have to give it time to absorb (you're supposed to apply your sunscreen 15 minutes before you go outside anyway) but it dries matte and invisible for me.

I love it. I use it now by itself or under my makeup instead of primer.

+1. This is what my dermatologist SIL recommends.

Which one? I just searched on Amazon. There are several different types. Thanks.

Do any of these double as moisturizer, or do you apply both moisturizer and sunscreen?

Just saw this too:

Powder sunscreen goes over makeup

You need 1/4 tsp of sunscreen for it to be effective. Its very hard to get the correct amount if you use a powder.

Yes, keys is also a daytime moisturizer plus sunscreen. Clean ingredients. Makes life very easy.

Anonymous wrote:I like La Roche Posay's tinted mineral sunscreen. Does just enough to even out skintone so I can skip foundation and just dust on some setting powder. So nice in the summer. It's about $30/bottle, but I sometimes see it on sale buy-on-get-one-half-off, and then I stock up.

Not Op, but where do you buy it from? Thanks.

CVS or Rite Aid. LRP usually has its own shelf, right next to Vichy.

OP here. Thank you all! After researching a bit, I narrowed the list to La Posey and MD Elta, and ultimately bought Elta from a physician office yesterday.

I use it every day, sometimes multiple times per day. It's light and non-shine-producing.

Wasn't this one on the top 10 bad sunscreens?

Interesting, thanks for noting this. I looked it up and found that it is in fact listed here: http://www.ewg.org/2015sunscreen/hall-of-shame/ presumably because it has a high SPF and contains oxybenzone. Neither of those concern me particularly, and I need something that costs $12 rather than $40 a bottle, so I'm sticking with it until I find something better that fits my budget.
