a hairbrush just changed my life

I have one in my shower. Do you use it with conditioner still in your hair?

Oh, good gravy. I'm not the OP, but I use both a conditioner and a hair mask on my daughter's hair, and it still comes out super-tangly. I have chin-length baby-fine hair, and it also comes out tangly even though I use conditioner.

Op thank you!!!! I need this thing NOW.

I have one for each of my Dd's. They are awesome and almost no more tears.

But you STILL have to detangle from the bottom up. If you try to pull any brush through wet tangled hair, you will still damage, stretch and rip out your hair. The best procedure is to use a wide tooth comb and detangle, from bottom up, through sections before getting in the shower. Condition of course. Pull comb through what should now be tangle free sections of hair. Rinse thoroughly but without lots of rubbings and your hair will be tangle free if you let it air dry.

My mom found these brushes on Amazon last year and bought several for my two DD's (for the dance bag, for each bathroom, etc.) they have travel sizes too!

I bought the travel size yesterday to try it out, and it has changed my life! It is replacing my current travel brush, and I'll get a full-size one for everyday too. Thanks OP!

Op here. Yay pp! So very glad to hear, and yes do treat yourself to the full sized version. So excited to get these for my step daughters too.

I like the brush a lot, but the dye has been coming off the handle and staining my counter. Does this happen to anyone else? My hairdresser sold me a purple one. It was all they had in stock.

My DD and I were amazed how easy it was to get the tangles out of her hair!! No more fuss from her or threats from me that she has to get her hair cut short. Thanks OP!

YES. DD has a Wet Brush and it was a lifesaver. Seriously.

I always lost clumps of my fine hair combing it after showering. I finally just stopped combing it altogether. Now I just go straight to the hair dryer and gently blow out the tangles- then once detangled and partially dry, I use a styling brush to finish. Works great and I lose a lot less hair.

And here I thought this was the poster who found the hairbrush on her dresser and was told by 85 pages of people that her husband was cheating on her, even though he said that his mother left it. I figured she found another hairbrush on her dresser.

Thanks for this awesome tip just in time for swim season! Amazon has them for less than $7 (both regular and 'squirt' sizes)!
