I'm a 40 year old white woman from the south and I know this term. At least for 10 years. Usually in the context of folks meetng up to head to parties together and the crowd getting bigger. It's a useful term to know.

Southerners always know AA vocab. I have been using this one for years, too. I am 37 white female from the South with husband from the South (but we no longer live there).

I'm LOL to admit we are fond of stating that 'Our crew rolls deep'... as we fill the weekend hours with all our little kids in activities all over the city jumping in and out of the van.... which we call the Swagga Wagon. This will out me to any of our friends. DH is from California (obvi).

Um, I'm a government bureaucrat and we sometimes talk about rolling deep for meetings if there are a lot of aides there. It's entirely mainstream/not cool.

The term comes from west coast gang culture, dipshit, even if "party" culture uses it now.

NP here, something tells me you never got invited to many parties.

Unless those parties are in Compton, I'm guessing.

Microsoft geeks in the Seattle area don't use the phrase.
