In new construction, bathrooms without windows?

It's very uncommon for every bathroom to have a window in new builds. Most of the time, the bathrooms are not against exterior walls so windows will be impossible. A buyer would have to be incredibly picky to make something like that a deal-breaker.

The only bathroom in my house that doesn't have a window is in the basement.

I have a new build with a hall bath with only a solatube for natural light. It is a little weird but it is only an everyday room for one kid so no big deal. We also have a 180 cfm exhaust fan and our fresh air recovery system is nearby so there has never been an issue with ventilation.

I grew up in a home with windows in the bathrooms, but the houses I've owned have never had them. It honestly doesn't bother me.

Growing up in the midwest, having at least one bathroom without windows is good for tornados/storms. It wouldn't hurt resale value from my point of view.

Shouldn't this go in the real estate/remodeling forum?

This. I grew up in a house with a windowless hall bath (built in 1965 fwiw). My current house has no windowless rooms, and for safety reasons I don't love it.

I never really thought about it. The 2nd floor bathroom (kid's) doesn't have windows and it doesn't bother me. Powder room doesn't have windows either.
