I have a 10 yo and it seems like in general, there are many more complaints regarding special ed services in MCPS than in the VA counties (Arlington and FCPS). FWIW.
Also, have you consulted with a pediatric psychiatrist? I feel like I read an article a few years ago about a child whose severe anxiety lead to selective mutism and they treated her successfully with therapy and a low dose of Prozac. |
