Best Place in Northern VA for Cake??

It's nice if the cake isn't too sweet. Well, the icing anyway.

Fluffy Thoughts is also great!

We had the almond cake from Heidelberg for our wedding as well! I might have to go there tomorrow for a special treat.

Victoria's Cakery in Fairfax if you're willing to drive.

Thank you!

Avoid Fluffy Thoughts. Their cake is light and crumbly. It can't support the weight of the frosting. Every time we've gotten cupcakes there the top of the cupcakes (frosting and a layer of the cake underneath) fall off when the cupcake is no longer supported by the little holder it sits in inside the box.

The Del Ray Cakery. She works out of her home in Alexandria. She's made several special cakes for us, including an amazing Frozen cake.

Where is this European bakery with delicious cake in Falls Church? I live here and don't know it and need to remedy this situation! Or were you thinking of Heidelberg in Arlington?

Hate the Swiss Bakery.

I really like Cake Fest. Sandra works out of her home and makes delicious cakes!

I think she meant Natalia's Elegant Creations. I tried her cake and Heidelberg's and both tasted great, but I agree about the decorations.
