Help me resign with dignity and professionalism!!!

Personally, I would NEVER open up old wounds, or bring up old issues. Most employers know the issues already. If they don't, then they're not running their business.

Mantr/ position I have very much enjoyed my time working with this organization, but company the position being offered to me allows me to expand my skills in xyz, and I am very excited about the opportunity to better mysel. I appreciate all the opportunity that has been afforded me. I hope perhaps we can work together in the future. At this junction, this is the best choice for my family and I.

If pressed for answers, jaunt go with above. Neutral, or nothing at all. Experience was good, it's just time to move on.

Key: sound appreciative. Don't hash out old crap. Leave door open.

I find it incredibly amazing (but not surprising) that women belabor how to write a letter announcing resignation. It's really, really, not that difficult (really).
