8th grade dance - where to find a dress? what kind?

My Dd got one a few years ago at White House/ black market- cute strapless white eyelet flare dress. Dressy enough but still casual enough to wear again

I asked OP is she was okay with them being strapless and she responded it is against the dress code. I asked as DD also wore a strapless dress for her 8th grade dance and I was going share it.

Surprisingly, I have ended up buying dresses from J C Penney, Lord & Taylor, Loft, and Nordstroms for my daughter. So, you can never say where you will find the perfect dress. Look everywhere and try everything.
