Need Advice on Picking Colors - How do you do neutrals?

At the recommendation of my kitchen designer, I used BM Edgecomb Grey to pull together the grey marble and tile in my kitchen with the warmer tones of the furniture and wood floors in the family room and it worked perfectly! Highly recommend as a base neutral. Anything works with it and it looks more current than the old beiges/tans.
