Yup. I spent my last anniversary dinner with both my DD and my nephew. Its just a day. DH & I had a dinner just the two of us several months later.

Of course not. Then it's a family dinner. Set him up with a playdate, or leave him home alone. He's 10!

Oh my! I got out 3 or 4 nights a YEAR with my spouse back when our kids were young enough to need sitters. How do you afford a sitter 8 times a month?

Does that mean she works for you overtime without additional pay, or that you pay her for 8 nights a week?
