I put my tomato and cucumber plants in 2 weeks ago and they're fine. I was concerned about one night last week when the low was in the 30s, but thankfully, it didn't freeze. They look healthy and with all the rain, they look to be growing. We also planted carrot, lettuce and green bean seeds and all are sprouting. We did put a ton of top soil this year, so the ground temp wasn't all that cold.
I say go for it! It's going to be in the 80s next week. with some rain. |

Yup- Mothers Day tends to be the rule of thumb around here but my tomato plants are getting leggy and the temps look warm enough this week so I'm probably going to put them in this weekend. |
Thanks for the link- looks like we should be good starting in Sunday- daytime temps up into the 80s and no nighttime temps below 50 over the next week- yay! |
