This actually looks a lot like my bath with your color suggestion...pretty!

Benjamin Moore quiet moments. We have this in our white and gray bathroom. Love it, feels spa like.

Another pretty one with similar tile in the shower. I like the white vanity, too, but I bet the espresso would also look nice. I'll have to get some swatches of this and see what we think.

Actually I think that color is a little different than the quiet moments...I'll check them both out.

It's hard to tell in the pic, but the ones we have, at least, have a lot of texture to them. I think painted they would look kind of odd. I agree that white tile would look lovely, though, and it's probably what we'd do if/when we ever completely redo this bath.

Ah - yes, white textured tiles might look odd. We're just about to put in white tile and I can't wait for the clean look!

I liked most of the suggestions above. My first instinct was Yellow.

Definitely white. Classy and modern.

If this is a bathroom you use daily rather than just a guest bathroom, do yourself a big favor and sap out the over head fixture for two lights on either side of the mirror. Way more flattering and a much nicer way to face the day.

You could do sconces or for even better lighting, a tube sconce like this:
