Describe your Dream Charter

At my dream charter, all the girls are strong, all the boys are good looking, each child is above average, and all students come from strong Western European stock. Also, there are no Title 1 or at-risk students at my dream charter.

I have no education experience whatsoever and admit my involvement in trying to start one would be a waste of time since I'm clueless. But, I would love a French or Mandarin charter. We need more of these schools.

Perhaps someone is interested in starting a Neo Nazi type charter. Hell, maybe they'll even do German immersion. At least anyone who's looking for what people want can invision your preference. I'd personally want to start a pro-black Panther type charter. I bet we'd kick your ass at all of the athletic games.

It's because of one vote only that the language in the USA became English instead of German and most schools would have been as you described

Also, no testing at this charter. Or maybe they would have testing but would help all of the parents opt out of testing.

Every couple of months, there is a new thread on what charters DCUM readers think should come up. That's fine, dream away--but know that it won't become a reality unless you make it one.

whats crazy is whenever a random parent says they want to start a charter, they get shot down as clueless. When same said parent says what they'd like in a charter, they're told by the same DCUMers to start one. Make up your minds!

It'd be hard to do, but I'd like a trilingual school. I'veread about some pre-k programs that have this.

What "strong Western European stock?" You must be American. Anything "strong" in Europe comes from Northern Europe.
