Talk me off the ledge please - little red dots on cuticle and I googled and am worried now

It will be ok! I would be more concerned about how you feel than the dots. I have lupus, RA, sjogrens, Raynaud's, Peripheral Vascular disease, (which caused amputations at the age of 40). Let me tell you I understand scary health symptoms! Go see a GOOD rheumatologist (thorough and really listens to your concerns) have them run tests. Honestly, I know it is scary but it is better for you to find out the truth (bad or good) and take control of it now, than avoiding it and your condition worsens to the point of no return. That is what happened to my dad. I was only 30 and just had my First child when I was diagnosed with RA and seeing my dad's struggles with RA, it terrified me. I cried to my RA Dr. Because I didn't want to be crippled like my dad. But he said my dad's disease progression was the result of his fear and avoidance. He said his body got so riddled with RA that the only treatment could help was for the pain and swelling. He said that the difference for me is I am taking control before it gets too far gone. He was so crippled, finger joints enlarged and twisted, couldn't bend, walk, or even use his hands because he avoided finding the truth. Finally, because the pain was unbearable, he went to the Dr. At 55 He was diagnosed with RA and then by the age of 60, but physically looked 10-15 years older, he could barely move and because he hurt - he stopped moving. His recliner is the only place he was comfortable and only place he wanted to be. A mistake That caused him to become 100% dependent to that chair (24 hours per day) and to my poor mother. It is where he spent the next 10 years until he passed away last year. It was so sad. He went from an always on the go (so many projects to complete - between mechanic and landscaping design businesses and his love of restoring classics) to the only time he left the chair was Dr appointments.
The reason I tell you his story is that he let fear overtake his thoughts and ultimately that's what look him. we may have had him only a few years longer, But had he took control and began treatment when he first saw signs at 45, the last 15-25 years of his life would have been so much more full and he would have died doing what he loved. Not watching the news 24hours a day, unable to enjoy his world outside. Best wishes to you on your quest for truth! Which ever answer you receive, it will be O.K!
