I did. But I was at a small nerdy school so we would cancel entire events, even social ones because 1/2 of the club had a test in 2 days or something like that. The "bros" on my campus would have been probably marginally accepted nerds on those big D1 school campuses in the south and the like

He's been outed as a bully of the worst kind. Even if he was drunk (which is 100% likely) it's just inhumane. The victim had horrific injuries - cracked vertebrae and kidney damage. Not to mention the claw hammer.

Yep. I had some bad moments in my 20s, but I never would have hurt someone like that. We all make mistakes when we're young, but some things can't be excused by youth. This was just really messed up, destructive, sadistic behavior.
