Change to penis

Because US medical textbooks generally depict and describe circumcised penises rather than intact penises. Because US medical curricula do not cover the normal penis except insofar as it relates to circumcision. Because US doctors learn almost nothing in their residencies about penises except how to circumcise them (i.e. "see one, do one, teach one"). Because the AAP (i.e. the trade organization of US pediatricans) position statement on circumcision is clearly biased, does not present relevant information on the functions of the foreskin and the normal penis and the disadvantages not only in terms of complications but also in terms of permanent changes to the function of the penis of circumcision. Because the AAP, ACOG, and CDC are clearly out of step with the rest of the advanced countries' position statements on circumcision. The US is the only medically-advanced country in the world in which the majority of baby boys are routinely circumcised for non-religious reasons. Not a single other country in the world recommends neonatal circumcision.

I think you need to make sure he can retract the foreskin.

Our boys couldn't and so at age 9, we had to see urologist and he made some recommendations.

he told boys to use cortaid and keep working on trying to pull skin back all the way.

After a couple of follow up visits, doctor numbed penis and retracted it. then boys followed up with using another cream.

Otherwise, doc said we'd need to circum.

This is bizarre. There are many, many boys who will not start to retract until puberty. Completely normal. Puberty has a wide range. Urologist jumped the gun and, really, sounds creepy.
