Southern Charm

I looooove Momma Whitney. She's a hoot.

Southern Charm is my favorite reality show. They're a great cast of characters.

What's the deal with Craig? He didn't come across as such a tool in the first season, but he's a jerk this season. He's in love with himself.

Craig is actually pathetic.
He admits he can't miss out on any opportunity to feel wanted (ie social time).

Does he even have a real job? How can he roll in at work each day after partying every night?

I'll be the lone dissenter.

Can't stand any of the people on Southern Charm, although Kathryn is growing on me this season.

Shep- so much wasted potential. His goofy smile/laugh is fine for a frat boy.

Craig- Someone needs to take a needle and pop that balloon growing around his head.

Whitney- Bile starts creeping into my mouth whenever he's on screen. He's around 50 and thinks his 'rock band' actually sounds good. Very judgmental, like his mama. Thinks he's worldly but it's glaringly superficial, also like his mama.

Cameron- typical "bless your heart" southerner. Thinks she's nice, but also sits back a judges everyone..just with a cute smile and a Lily Pulitzer dress on.

T-Rav- Okay he's a 50 something wanna be Senator and goes by T-Rav. Nuff said.

Kathryn- She's the only one I can stand this time. She's really grown quite a bit since last season. Everyone, including Thomas, gives her crap about her young age. But she's acting more mature than all of them now. Motherhood suits her. Her baby is adorable and I hope she leaves Thomas. She's young and still has an excellent chance at a fulfilling life with someone that will appreciate her. Not just being T-rav's baby mama.

Landon- She seems like a sweet girl. Don't see her lasting long on this show unless there's some drama in her life though.

That's a tall drink of water right there. He'd be on my card, but just for the one night. Hahaha. Seriously, I'd love to see him with Danni. She's such a quality girl. She may have the most gorgeous legs ever!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves Shep. It's sort of embarrassing because he's such a caricature of a rich, southern, frat boy but he is funny and CUTE. And he almost acts like he's in on the joke of himself which I enjoy.

I LOVE Southern Charm, though part of it is that I'm Southern and DH is from South Carolina, so I feel like I get it. Kathryn is as tacky and DUMB as they come. I don't care what her last name is.

I'm Southern and love the show as well, probobly because I feel like I know most of the characters. Shep reminds me of 90% of the guys at Ole Miss.

Exactly. I'm Southern and half my family went to Ole Miss. The weird thing is that in real life, I don't really like fratty boys because I find them obnoxious. And yet I LOVE Shep

Oh yes, Whitney's mother is the best. Seriously, the butlers and the martinis and the guns, it's all just too much. Thank goodness, they are keeping her on even though Whitney has (thankfully) moved out.

Really? I thought he just lived off his mom and never really worked. Interesting.

Is anyone else concerned about the fact when Kathryn's parents met Thomas last year they seemed perfectly chill with her dating him? Like they were chomping at the bit for that Ravenel name.

OK I will be the odd one out- I find Whitney oddly hot. I love Patricia too- she seems like a hoot. Breakfast in bed, martinis daily and dog accupuncture...FUN!

I want to be Whitney's mom when I grow up.

Whitney actually produced a documentary about the designer Halston. Was just so-so but could have been great.
