Are MCPS schools ever evaluated by the Central Office?

I believe the Chief School Performance Officer has something to do with oversight and adherence to policies. I know when there were questions about MCPS witholding recess as discipline it was the School Performance Officer who would remind schools of the rule and offer to write a letter to the principal. So if you have an issue, I would try contacting that office. They were really nice when I spoke with them a while back.

It was OSP that knocked down doors of high schools who were suspending too many kids - mostly minority males.

You think the chief isn't on OSP's side? lol
