I think providing the total compensation value is one way to bump up the total figure - salary + parking subsidy + childcare subsidy + matching contributions into retirement. If you would be up for a promotion at your current job but are leaving, then citing the value of that somewhere in your application in another way.

Obviously you don't want to divulge this information if you don't have to, but some job applications don't allow you to submit without it, as PP noted, or the HR reviewed will just toss you out for having an incomplete application. It's a tough situation.
