OP, when you do seek out the OT privately make sure you ask what the provider specializes in. I wasn't informed til a year in that we were at a sensory clinic --it was written nowhere and not mentioned by anyone. I mistakenly assumed all OTs did similar things. You want a motor specialist and you might also get a PT screening as well.
