"Falls" CHurch (perhaps in Falls Church VA?)

Anonymous
OP here. I'm not looking for anything in VA. Sorry. Didn't mean to imply that I was.

I was really just making conversation and got confused. I had googled "Church named Falls" and did see the Anglican church; however, I wasn't really sure that was what she was describing.

But OP describes the youth group she is seeking as "very large" that's not the dying Epis. Falls Church, which has, at most 80 older members meet on a a Sunday, and is almost shuttered bcause they can't maintain the properties. She's looking for the 6,000 - 8,000 member Falls Church Anglican. And kids of all beliefs are welcome to participate in the youth groups. OP, call your colleague . I don't want you wasting your time and I'm sure I'm right about this.

Not really "All"- they don't support gay or female clergy.

Notice that pp says KIDS of all beliefs are welcome to participate in the youth groups. I'm sure that's true and equally sure that those impressionable kids would be taught that gay relationships are against Biblical teachings.

What I don't get is why pp is trying to recruit without being upfront about the church's beliefs.

Snort. The church has 10,000 members and just raised $14 million in funds for a new building. I really don't think they care about recruiting a new child. And The Falls Church Anglican does have female clergy. Her name is Rev. Kathleen Christopher.

Nothing inherently wrong with being right-wing conservative. Nothing inherently admirable about being progressive.

Sorry, but this is NOT true at all. Say what you like but TFC-E is growing and full of young families.

Just to add to this - The Falls Church Episcopal has a vibrant and growing membership and was nearly full in the huge main church and the historic church on Easter Sunday for multiple services.
