America - Sister Golden Hair Surprise

CCR - Lodi

Dan Fogelberg -- ALL OF THEM!!

For all around cheesiness: Walter Egan - Magnet and Steel (this song is my favorite part of Boogie Nights!)

Yessss! I love the song that goes..."if I can't have you, I don't want nobody baby". That song reminds me of summertime for some reason.

Different PP. For me, it's "How Deep Is Your Love". One of the best uses of the falsetto Bee Gee voices out there.

So many good songs here. I'd add Hall and Oates "Sara's Smile" and She's Gone". Anything by Ashford and Simpson, but I think they were writing more for others in the 70s and recorded their better known songs in the 80s.

Absolutely anything by Earth, Wind and Fire.

Jackson 5 "I want you back"

Isaac Hayes "Shaft"

Carpenters, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart - too many to list.

My DH is a huge KC and the Sunshine Band fan -

Starland Vocal Band "Afternoon Delight"

But what about the cheese OP asked for?

England Dan and John Ford Coley "I really want to see you tonight"

Pablo Cruise "Love will find a way"

And the crown jewel of cheese - Gilbert O'Sullivan "Alone again, naturally".

Anonymous
Afternoon Delights "General Hospital"
Pure Parairie League "Aimee"
Alice Cooper "only women Bleed"

+1 I was going to add that song.

Also, SuperTramp - Breakfast in America (The Logical Song, Goodbye Stranger, Take the Long Way Home, the title song)

Cheap Trick - Surrender, I Want You to Want Me, Ain't That a Shame

And so much Donna Summer, Elton John, Billy Joel!

Ring My Bell
Le Freak
Baker Street - I love that song!
Pointer Sisters' Slow Hand
And so many cheesy Air Supply hits …

70s station is my favorite station on satellite radio and right now I'm listening to Donna Summer Radio on Pandora.

And of course, 70s salsa - the absolute best! Ruben Blades, Willie Colon (Siembra = greatest salsa album of all time), Roberto Roena & Apollo Sound, Fania All Stars … sigh, wish I were dancing right now.
