Help me decide if any of these rugs will work with my couch (please!!!)

I like 2, 4, and 5 BUT I would avoid a rug with a gray background because it might look awkward with the gray in your sofa. Instead, get a bright or bold background with gray in the pattern (or no gray at all).

I like the feel of wool better than olefin and polypropelin and you can get really cheap wool rugs on sites like overstock or rugs usa. I just got an 8x10 hand hooked rug for under $200. Definitely get hand or machine hooked -- hand tufted will shed like crazy for at least six months.
