What's your history with religion?

Are you evangelical?

I've been studying Bible prophecy for about 32 years. I consider myself a non-denominational Christian. I welcome all Christian denominations. If I had to choose though, I would say the United Church of Christ.

The United Church of Christ is extremely liberal. It does not consider the Bible to be a history book and would not espouse this type of literal interpretation of the Bible.

I never said any denomination espoused my interpretation. My church would not attempt an interpretation such as this. Do you always believe everything your church says? I was raised in this church. If they don't sanction my beliefs, I don't care. I expect people to judge my words. If they disagree, I don't mind. I won't be changing my beliefs for anyone, anytime, for any organization, ever... I don't subscribe to the normal dogma. I've heard it all, and what I've heard, I don't believe. Judge the words I have written. If they go against your beliefs, let's part company. Otherwise, just about everything I have said can be investigated. Investigate what I have said if you are unsure. I've given a lot of information in a short letter, which is why I can't make it any shorter. If you were a prophecy scholar you would know that I need to explain the information I have written. It all has to be there, and it all has to be correct. I am not one of those who follow everything I hear from the church blindly. Prove what is right, then you might find you have been led in a wrong direction, partially correct and partially wrong. I have set out to correct what I have seen wrong. If you are waiting for some other explanation that fits all the criteria in prophecy, I believe you have a long wait.

So how much time do you give us before the Big One?

You know and I know that question should not be answered. Do I have some ideas, yes. A very short time from now is all I will say. The main thing is to know it is coming. When, is really not that important. It's more important to know who said these things and that they are true.

So, OP is a "none" - not a affiliated with any religion. I guess this goes to show that they aren't all people drifting away religious belief -- some, like OP are out spreading the word -- THEIR word about what is about to befall humanity. Fascinating

When it comes time to condemn me for my words, I want to hear from you then.

Who said them, then? You? Or a prophet? And why is who said it more important? I think the "when" would be much more important.

Michael, I am sorry to be the one to have to tell you this.

You have wasted 32 years.

You have been studying a bunch of gibberish. It is absolute bunk. Just crap. You would have done as well studying Mayan prophecies, or cracks in the pavement, or the Golden Girls.

There is no God. We invented him. Snd ghese prophesies are the poorly-digested ravings of madmen .

I don't know that.

I'd like an answer.

Is "soon" defined as a month? a year? a decade?

Can't you at least give a time frame? Should I even bother to visit relatives in Europe next year?

That was well-written, Michael. Everyone has been guessing at this and your guess is as good as anyone's. The main thing I am looking for is when Jesus said (paraphrasing) 'As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when I come again"

The days of Noah were terrible. The majority of the people on earth were thieves and murderers, and in Revelation it even says "And after all those plagues these wicked people still did not repent of their murders and thefts"

The days of Noah there was widespread lawlessness. We see a hint of that in the yobs of Britain, and with people (who act like wild animals) like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, as well as the numbers of people addicted to meth, crack, and other drugs who rob and murder to get their fix.

There are many views on who the Man of Sin is, but he will not be revealed until there is a great falling away of Christians from faithfulness to Jesus: the majority of people will deny Jesus as the son of God, the Christ, and although they may be "spiritual" --having a form of godliness, they are by no means holy in the last days.

Here is an interesting view on the horns: http://www.sundaylaw.net/books/other/standish/popesltr/pl06.htm

I do not claim this to be true or anything, just another interesting take on it.

Again, well-written Michael. I can neither agree nor disagree with you because I just don't know but I do agree with you that the mountains represent nations, the horns the leaders of these nations. We really do not have kings anymore but elected officials who win by scrounging up the most money or find the best way to cheat at the ballot box. I am sure if Internet Voting becomes the main way to vote then elections will become a sham.

Is this another thread about Lena Dunham?

Your link on the horns is conspiracy theory.

one world govt, one religion, one educational platform (UN and IB and to some extent, Common Core), one judicial system, one currency (EU)

Is that the connection? the second coming is connected to new world order?
