Room & Board.
I think West Elm fits this from the pieces we have purchased.

I think they went out of business a few years ago.

I second the Macy's recommendation. We got a sleeper sectional there several years ago and it has held up surprisingly well with 2 rambunctious boys. The Crate and Barrel sofa that we got, on the other hand, is starting to look saggy. I have to keep flipping the back cushions because after a week of sitting on them, they start to slouch.

Bassett. Most of their stuff is made in Bassett, va.

We have 3 sofas/sectionals in the house: Ikea leather (1k), Crate and Barrel fabric (2k), and Roche Bobois leather (10k).

Guess which one has held up the best?

PP again. Before the Ikea sofa, I had ordered a Room and Board leather sofa (4k). The R&B one looked great, but the leather was very slippery and I had to return it.

Yes.

Arhaus and Room & Board are my favorites.

Haverty's, Lazy Boy (for chairs & couches), Ethan Allen.

PP again. Lazyboy is made in the US and not all ugly recliners.

Agreed, overpriced and not necessarily better than IKEA.

We're kind of in the same boat- need some more furniture and keep saying we're not buying more IKEA but I've yet to settle on something that I think is worth the price increase.

OP, is there anything you are looking for in particular? There are several local woodworkers who make tables, shelving, etc., that can be well made and not necessarily cost much more than something like Crate and Barrel. Craigslist is another idea if you don't mind used.
