If you'd read my original post, you'd see that I generally play my iPod instead of radio.

So, you didn't know when Jack Diamond got canned, and it was shortly after that is when the format switched happened?

I hate the new Usher song about how he doesn't mind that his girlfriend is a stripper.

The station is definitely trying to attract a younger audience - especially based on their morning show.

The song is called Truffle Butter, by Lil Wayne, Drake, and Niki Minaj. You do not want to know what the meaning of the title is....I heard it and was so grossed out!!!!

Knew about Jack Diamond being fired, didn't know about format change. But I do now know to take 107.3 off my preset radio stations!

I stopped listening to 107.3 after Jack Diamond left. Now I switch between 97.1 and 94.7

LOL OP - I was actually driving into work this morning when they played it and I thought, "hmmm, this is a little more explicit than their usual music. Glad my daughter isn't with me asking about it."

I do like the song, though.

OP, you might want to stick more to 99.1. They are owned by the Mormons (Clear Channel?) so they play less stuff like that and radio-edit some of the stuff they do play.

I hate that Tov Lo song "Habits" where she talks about staying high all the time to forget him. Gah. I'm not even a bra burning feminist, but that song is awful! What happened to good music?!?

Nicki Minaj is disgusting. No talent, just shock factor.

It's just dumb. Drake is constantly trying to prove how "street" his half-white Canadian self is, so I'm not surprised by this.

Vote with a turn of the dial and maybe a tweet or email to the station. I'm pretty liberal when it comes to music, but this is just trash.

NP here. I knew about Jack Diamond being canned but I am another who did not know about the format change. I had already segued over to 97.1 with Loo and Chili. Don't EVEN want to know more about song lyrics or meanings of song titles than what I've already read here - yuck! Other than 97.1, we listen to classical in the car -- or the kids' CDs!
