You don't have to do anything but sign in when you drop your child off. Tardies are no big deal.
Check the lunch times though, they can be very early for elementary kids so you want to make sure they didn't miss it. Take them out to eat, then drop off. |
Depends on your school. I always call the line when we know she's going to be late. To my knowledge, (I confess I've not studied the absence part closely because she's in 3rd grade), they haven't reported it incorrectly. The secretary usually has a tardy slip waiting for her when we get there. |

I would call if I were going to be more than maybe 15 minutes late. At around the half hour point our school starts calling families, and if they can't reach them, emergency contacts. We have an attendance line we can call and leave a message.
And one tardiness like this is no big deal. |
