| Budget may be limiting factor for some of the towns mentioned, maybe do a broader search in your price range to see which town has the kind of housing stock you are interested in. |

I thinks it's actually "nath shah". Lexington is great. I think Peabody is also nice and either newbury or Newburyport--I get mixed up between which is nice and which is a little down in the mouth.
I think lowell might even be coming back, but not particularly close to water. Revee-ah is close to water, but I think a little down in the mouth. |

Plus one for Swampscott. A friend is selling her house there in the spring (after some of the snow melts) and it is fabulous. |

| Reading- Joshua Eaton elementary is on the west side where the older homes are. Barrows is great school as well. |

I love the huge mounds of snow in the photos for recent listings in that area. Nothing says "Welcome to your new home" quite like this:

| Lexington is a great place to live. But I'm partial to Marblehead. There's this chocolate shop called stowaway sweets where Jackie Kennedy would supposedly call and have have them send these chocolates called 'melt-aways' to wherever she lived. Those melt-aways are amazing. And the town of marblehead is just charming. |
