Only 8-9 Donor eggs expected at retrieval...

Sorry about your TESE results, but hooray for 86% fertilization--that is awesome!

6 donor egg-donor sperm embryos have a pretty good chance of producing one, and maybe even a couple of babies. Happy to hear it!

I only had 6 eggs and two embryos to transfer day 5. ... And Those two embryos are my twins, now 12 months. Don't lose hope. Quality not quantity.

Well my wife had the transfer today and we were able to transfer 2 excellent "expanded" blasts (as hoped!). They were really good quality and there was a 3rd, but not sure if we'll be able to freeze it - we will find out tomorrow.

Not bad from a donor that only produced 9 eggs, 7 mature and 6 fertilized. We are praying they stick and we get a positive pregnancy test in 9 days.

Thanks for all the thoughts and responses!

OP here ----thanks for all the encouragement and responses...it really is nice to be able to post on here and have so many people that completely understand how tough this process is.

Had our pregnancy blood test yesterday and it's POSITIVE!!! We are in shock still i think. we've been through so much that it almost doesn't seem real. Still trying to not get too excited since I know we still have a bunch of milestones to get to before we're in the clear.
