We mostly use bath towels, but have a couple bath sheets. Good for occasional massage. Or after a long hot bath - feels very indulgent. |
DH and I have bath sheets. They are awesome. There is nothing like getting out of the shower and completely immersing yourself in a luxurious bath sheet. Buy quality ones. |
They're ok for once in a while or for a beach towel. So heavy transferring from washer to dryer. |
I love my bath sheet. My 6'2. Dh loves the towel. He says it's too big to wrap around. Me I love it for my boobs. |
I used to have bath sheets. Loved them. Wanted to marry them. Then had to get rid of them for some reason and wound up only with bath towels that were left. It turns out they're fine. |
Bath sheets. I use 2 of them after shower. One to dry hair/body. Then the other to dry off body again. Leave the bathroom completely dry and it's quick.
With regular towels I still use 2 but they get wet too fast and still not dry enough. I hate leaving the bathroom with wet skin, especially when it's cold. 6'/ 200lbs here. |
Never heard of bath sheets, but you do realize anything large will take up more room in your washer/dryer? |
I would think that's pretty obvious. Not sure what difference that makes. Does that mean I shouldn't have a king sized mattress since the sheets are bigger? |
Absolutely bath sheets here. I'm 5'10, 120 and DH is 6'1, 200. They're long enough to cover me -- I always feel like I'm hanging out of a regular towel. And they definitely wrap all the way around.
Ours are from Lands End. Supima, I believe. I've never noticed that they take up an inordinate amount of space in the washer/dryer, but I really wouldn't care anyway. They're that awesome. |
Omg! Didn't realize people didn't know about bath sheets. I can't believe it!
I'm 5'11" and my whole family is tall/big (dad 6'3", mom 5'10", little brother (!) is now 6'4") and growing up we only had bath sheets, beach towels, hand towels and washcloths. I remember going to Walmart when I got to college, looking for bath sheets and being disappointed! I can fit about 6 bath sheets and all my washcloths and dish towels from the week into a load of laundry. My dryer is bigger than my washer, though, and that could probably fit at least 8 or 10! |
