The best part ant a small he's is that it heats and cools easily. If you adjust the heat or air, you feel the difference with minutes.

Do not move your junk to the new house. Before you move, purge, purge, purge. Be relenteless. I wish I had done this before we left our big house in Texas, because now we have moved boxes of junk we don't need 3 times, and our 3rd "bedroom" is uninhabitable.

Storage is not the answer. Getting rid of stuff is. What stuff you do keep, make sure it's in small containers/bins so you can store it in closets, under beds, etc.

Family of three in 750 square ft. Organization is key and, to echo other PPs, purging your house of extraneous stuff is important. Think minimalist.

Purge now, purge more as you pack, purge again as you unpack.
