Eric Clapton in 1993 somewhere in DC area, maybe Patriot Center? Got free tickets and ended up leaving/walking out. It was a total bore. Clapton was playing "new" material that apparently he had never played live. Some kind of weird jazz/instrumental.
Audience kind of collectively groaned after his third song...and others were yelling out "Leyla" and other requests. |
| Blues Traveler was atrocious. I walked out. Dave Matthews was fine in the mid-90s. By the late '90s, it was just bad. I think Spin Doctors also was awful, but I was 15 and jet lagged, so perhaps I'm being unfair (or wrongly expected them to be moderately decent because I was 15 and stupid). |
| I've seen Bob Dylan 2x, and both times were so bad. Left early last year. |

Jethro Tull
He refused to sing any of his hits and played every freaky instrument unknown to man. |
| I walked out of Einstein on the Beach (Philip Glass). |
| I agree The Cure was disappointing live. As was REM and The Jesus and Mary Chain. |
| I saw Rihanna in 2008 at a festival - very disappointing. Terrible vocals and no stage presence. When I've seen her more recent performances on TV it seems she's more comfortable on stage but still can't sing, still can't dance though she is very pretty to look at. |
I loved Drowned World tour! I thought Music and Ray of Light were great albums |
|
Calvin Harris sucked ass live.
I've seen him twice and he was way better the second time. But the first time was soooooo unbelievably bad. |

Big Audio Dynamite
Rod Stewart second time I saw him in 1984, great in '77 |
| Counting Crows at Jiffy Lube. Dude was waaaaay too stoned and kinda meandered his way through the songs. We left. |
