Big 3?

Anonymous
Sorry, I should not have said "hypocritical." You are right you never said there was no such thing as the Big 3. I don't want to be accused of being one of the crazies on this board. I just think that the OP asked an innocent question and only wanted to know what people meant by the term. I had the same question when I first started reading these threads and was too afraid of asking for fear of being lectured to. I apologize again. I hope the OP got her answer.

Thanks, 13:05! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the correction. It does seem as though too many posters here are unable to ever apologize.

I would say that you are too sane to be posting here, but what does that say about me?

Why not just say big 4 - Sidwell, GDS, "Beauvoir/NCS/St. Albans", and Maret. These really are the 4 well known and highly competitive schools that have Pre/K/ to 12 system.

Or how about a Big 5, to round things out (things are often grouped Top 3, Top 5, Top 5, etc.)? So the Big 5 would be Sidwell, GDS, "Beauvoir/NCS/St. Albans", Maret, and Green Acres.

How about we call all the schools collectively the Big Heart Attack or the Big Ulcer? That's what I feel coming on everytime I see that enrollment contract with a Bigger tuition than the previous year.
