No adults in the study--boys 0–9 years. There would probably be large enough sample sizes to compare circumcised and not, but obviously some boys were circumcised way after birth, which just seems odd. |

I find this theory fascinating. Ever watch the baby screaming upon his surgery? I have. It's the most horrific torture I've ever witnessed with my own eyes. Sorry, guys. |
Who are circumcised under general anesthesia, in the hospital. This is so utterly ridiculous. Please stop feeding the troll. |
DS was given a dribble of wine at his bris and seemed pretty content. In the old days they used to slap a baby's butt right after birth to make them breath (and scream). if your ridiculous theory had anything to it, most of the country would have been autistic. |
You're saying if I'm going to slap you, I might as well take a knife to remove some body part, as the pain would be the same? How ridiculous, not to mention the infection risk (and pain) of an open wound. You clearly have some missing marbles, and perhaps more than that. |
I said nothing of the sort. Calm down. My point is that screaming doesn't cause autism. As for the missing marbles . . . you really need to chill. |
+1. Having attended many bris milahs (brisses? britot?), I can attest that I've never heard tortuous screaming. If PP thinks circumcision is most horrific torture she has witnessed, she clearly hasn't lived much. What a stupid article. |
| A gentle reminder...Don't feed the troll. |
