Office Weight Loss Challenge, Need Help PLEASE

Anonymous
There has been a lot of research that shows that these types of challenges can be very effective

I would say that at your height and weight, you should be able to drop 25 pounds.

I suggest you do the South Beach Diet. I've done it and lost weight - I've never been able to lose weight on a diet before.

Good luck!

That is awesome. Was this with WW alone or did you also exercise? I am almost post baby and want to have something lined up to use as a weight loss plan.

This was me. I did WW but also got extra points for things like walking or riding my bike. So WW is a whole life style and not just diet or exercise.

For me it worked better (obviously) than anything else such are trying on my own (bad option) or South Beach which I think is hard to make a life style switch to.

I would try it.

For what its worth, I'm currently doing WW online now. I'm not really exercising much (I know I need to fit it in, but the cold + very limited time = no exercise lately), but I have still found WW effective. What is great about something like WW is that it really forces you to look at what you are eating, and the portion size. You will be surprised by how much more you were eating than you probably thought you were.

I am not a snacker at all, so cutting out things like soda (don't drink), chips (don't eat) and sweets (don't like) doesn't do much for me. It really was portion size and realizing that for my little inactive self, I needed to eat about 1,100-1,200 calories a day to lose weight.

But I highly recommend WW b/c it really will work if you follow the rules and are strict about portion size.

PP here - I forgot to add that I've lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks on WW (considering no exercise, I consider that very good).
