Not the OP - so this would apply in different situations. If I'm talking about something I like about my EOTP school, I get sick of people pooping on it and my choice to send my kids there. If it's clearly someone clearly looking to enroll for PK3/4 only, I don't really want to tell you about the awesome program at my school. I'd rather someone nearby who has an interest in staying at the school have a better chance at the spot. I know that's not up to me, but I'm not going to make it easier for you. Please consider Appletree for a PK3/4 only program. |
Bridges is not moving until 2016. |
This, i has when people go in for pk knowing for a fact they will go back to these IB school. Everyone will be annoyed with you, rest assurred. |
| Thought Bridges was moving to Lee (Mamie D) for 15-16. |
| Bridges moves to Mamie D. Lee for the 2016-17 school year; renovations of the building (and renovations are necessary!) will take place in 2015-16. |
| Has there been any update on whether Sela will actually have a PreK-3 class? When I toured a month ago, I was told it was a "maybe" - depended on DCPCS approval and on application numbers I think. |
| Maybe new Two Rivers (Young?) campus? I got a flyer in the mail for that campus this week which makes me think their lottery numbers are lower than anticipated. |
I got that too, based on having applied to the regular campus last year, where I was in the 380s on the waitlist! The new campus location unfortunately just does not work for us. I think chances of getting in there will be MUCH higher than at the current campus, as there will be lots more slots and the location isn't metro/bus accessible. |
