Not the OP - so this would apply in different situations.

If I'm talking about something I like about my EOTP school, I get sick of people pooping on it and my choice to send my kids there.

If it's clearly someone clearly looking to enroll for PK3/4 only, I don't really want to tell you about the awesome program at my school. I'd rather someone nearby who has an interest in staying at the school have a better chance at the spot. I know that's not up to me, but I'm not going to make it easier for you. Please consider Appletree for a PK3/4 only program.

I got into my unpopular IB school in the initial lottery and then into Bridges right before school started. I think if you put Bridges on the list, you will get in even with a bad draw, especially since the school will be moving for 2015-2016, so people who can't get to the new campus (in NE) will be applying to the lottery this year.

Bridges is not moving until 2016.

Thought Bridges was moving to Lee (Mamie D) for 15-16.

Bridges moves to Mamie D. Lee for the 2016-17 school year; renovations of the building (and renovations are necessary!) will take place in 2015-16.

Has there been any update on whether Sela will actually have a PreK-3 class? When I toured a month ago, I was told it was a "maybe" - depended on DCPCS approval and on application numbers I think.

Maybe new Two Rivers (Young?) campus? I got a flyer in the mail for that campus this week which makes me think their lottery numbers are lower than anticipated.

I got that too, based on having applied to the regular campus last year, where I was in the 380s on the waitlist! The new campus location unfortunately just does not work for us. I think chances of getting in there will be MUCH higher than at the current campus, as there will be lots more slots and the location isn't metro/bus accessible.
