Cord Cutters rejoice

You can't DVR or record shows you are streaming from the internet, correct? I would love to cut the cord but I'm going to have a hard time convincing DH if he can't DVR his sports.

The price is too high. For $10 more, I can get those stations plus a few more from cable. Also, they will raise the price each year.

If it was. $10 a month, I would say it was a good deal.

Technically you can, but legally it will be dependent upon the terms and conditions of the provider.

this is actually a valid point. The cable providers try to lure you in with the bundling. So, if you just want internet, it's still $100, but you can have cable too for $105! Then all of a sudden you are paying for extra boxes and channels and services and that's where it gets ridiculous. We suck it up and pay the $100 (or whatever they want to screw you with) but refuse to give into anything else. Maybe someday there will be competition!

I pay $49/month for Comcast blast! internet.

Exactly my point. $79/month gets me Fios triple play.

so, break your contract. so what if you have to pay a penalty. You'll still be ahead because you'll be saving so much each month.
