Toy gift for 6-12 month old?

This is great for an infant, but if OP says the child has everything needed for up to 6 months, I would think they are looking for toys to last longer as the child gets older. I put all of these type of toys away by 12 months.


I thought she was looking for toys for the 6-12 month range. Maybe I misunderstood.


I'm the PP - I thought she was looking for toys that a baby can begin using in the 6-12 month range, but could last longer, hence the toys I suggested. These are toys my 6-12 month old DD liked and my current 7-month old is starting to like to play with. Maybe I misunderstood the OP.

Sorry - I posted this...I meant I am the PP who suggested the music activity table and the crawling music ball as toys that a 6-12 month old would like to play and could continue to play as they grow.

My 3 year old will still pull ours out and play with it once in a while (we kept it for her younger brother).


My son also loved the Mozart music cube. Lights and music and things to press, and not so annoying.
