Thought most pre med programs do this, that's why it is such a hard major most places.

Sorry this is simply not true. Know a dc now at the school trying to get into Med School...grades killed her (Deflation). She's now going the post bac route into Med School.

Princeton is notorious about grade deflationm. But it's not enough to keep applicants away.

I'm old school. You earn an A, you get an A.

The med schools all know Davidson. They know how to evaluate the gpa’s from there. I said a “near perfect."

Even if the grades were ++++y, why does the school "deflate"? What's the point to it?
