The attack in France was a horrible event. But, at least the anti-Obama crowd can still find a silver lining. Is there anything you people won't politicize? It looks like I'll have to move this thread to the political forum.

I'm watching John Kerry on CNN right now addressing the French people in their native language. Quite impressive!
I didn't know he spoke French but then again, it makes since that the Secretary of State is at the very least bilingual.

Also, it looks like the French police have supposedly found the car used in the crime.

the poeple killed today are heroes. their satirical magazine was among those that published the so called Mohammed cartoons in solidarity with the Danish newspaper a few years ago, their headquarter was firebombed and almost destroyed for that in 2007, they received deth threats and they knew very well they were targets. but they did not bow, they kept doing what they were doing, drawing cartoons and publishing a satirical newspapers.

To not call it a terrorist attack right away, especially after France declared it so, is insulting to our ally

Drop the FOX News / Breitbart / Limbaugh / Hannity BULLSHIT!

Here's what Obama said:

White House Condemns Paris 'Terrorist Attacks'

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France”

So sick of constant right wing fabrications, untruths and spins. STOP, STOP, STOP already!!

the WH spokesman bangled his answer during the interview. but this is the statement released by Obama, apparently just before the spokesman talked:

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time,” Obama said. “France, and the great city of Paris where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers.”

so Obama, who is the guy in charge, clearly qualified this tragedy for what clearly is, an act of terrorism. now let's move to what happened, which is a huge tragedy. some European newpapers have already announced that they will published cartoons from Charlie Ebdo. I hope all do, even in the US. I am in shock.
