What did you do for your son's 10th birthday?

We went to Kings Dominion. 4 kids total plus 3 adults. We used a deal from groupon or living social, I forget which.

Gametruck will do minecraft but its expensive. Also most kids have access to ipads or kindles and can play together on those. We also considered doing a climbing party at earthtreks in rockville or a movie/dinner. For movie/dinner definitely keep it to less than 10 kids. Or for any party at the house.

Sky Zone with about 10 kids plus two little sisters. They loved it (we're in Colorado but it looks like they're in suburban MD)

25 closest friends! What?

Took him and his best buddy to Medieval Times. There were five of us (2 adults and 3 kids) and we paid $200 (with a Living Social voucher).

I know, right? But some friends from school, some from camp, some from hebrew school, a few cousins, some family friends, and yeah. We were cutting people to get it below 30.

This is what we did. Lego Movie had just come out. Six friends plus 2 siblings and 4 adults. We did lunch at our house first, then to the movie, then back to the house for cake. I don't remember how much it cost. Maybe $100-150?

We just celebrated ds's 10th. He and I (mom) went on his favorite hike and he got to take his time and stomp through all the half frozen little creeks - something I am never patient enough for. Then the family went out for dinner and took him to see Into The Woods, which he read recently and wanted to see on screen. Gave him presents at dinner.

Sigh....I'm sure this is not the sort of thing you had in mind, lol. Anyway, he was thrilled because he LOVED his gifts and we rarely go to the movies. He had a great day.
