Some of these recommendations are mind boggling - Chef Geoff's, Seasons 52-really?
Our criteria when on a date night is that it has to be someplace we can't take the kids to - otherwise it is just not that special.

I don't want to shock you, but some people have different criteria and like to go to restaurants where they enjoy the food. Regardless of whether they COULD take the kids there or not.
