A college kid?

Sleeping, seeing friends, sleeping, doctor appointments, sleeping, applying for summer internships, and sleeping.

Well, I'll tell you what my parents would've said about me: DD is working hard as usual during the day and going out every night with friends. No ski trips. No trips to Italy for her.

Relaxing and working on book reports. My eldest plays basketball in high school, and it is practice as usual. She has two games next week.

Sleeping, eating, and seriously chiiling out with propped up feet. DC won't open a book nor even read the news. Ironically, this internet obssessed junkie won't even touch the laptop.

The younger one either wants to be a vet or a lawyer; the older one - med school.

I swear this gets posted every year. It's the classic DCUM Grey Poupon response to a question clearly intended to elicit some responses from others whose college kids are taking it easy during their breaks.

OP here and I don't mind 'grey poupon'. If that's what they're doing, GREAT! I think it's wonderful her children are being so productive. In Italy, no less.

Frankly, I'm a little jelly.

Book reports in college over break? Luckily both my kids had finals before break so are relaxing.

About once a day DS will have a random burst of energy and go out and do something. But he mostly seems nocturnal.

So far they've been beating each other and crying over each others toys. The oldest has been reading and fighting off his brothers. The parents have imbibed so much wine that the poor holiday shift guy at the liquor store knows us now. There have been shining moments of Risk and chess I between beat downs but, in short, this is winter break with no money to travel!

In between ...it's probably the wine

I guess some college kids never grow up.

I dunno, mine think they can join in on the wine part. No crying though.
