Vitamix vs blendtec

Both are great blenders. Honestly, I'm sure either one would be more than powerful enough for everyday use. They're also similarly priced. Technically, however, Blendtec has slightly more horsepower and is $20-$50 cheaper.
It's a close comparison though.

The most significant difference in my mind is style. Vitamix's have a more classic design with analog switches and dials. Blendtec's are more high tech with touch panel displays, etc. Personally, I prefer Vitamix because they're simpler. However, I know a few people who absolutely adore their Blendtecs.
